Since I am incapable of doing anything just because I “ought” to do it, I am starting a series of posts on here that explore recently published research on infant health equity. Long story short, since graduate school, I have been fascinated by the persistence of inequities in infant health; namely the 2x excess risk of black infants of dying during their first year of life compared to white infants.
